Immediately After: With a clean dry tissue pat your brows gently to get rid of any lympth fluid or blood that may become present every 2-hours. Please to not rub only pat. Before bed wash the brows gently with water and antibacterial soap, pat dry them completely dry and apply a small amount of A &D or aquaphor only(rice size).
Day 2: Wash the brows morning and night, pat dry them and apply a small amount of ointment for the last time.
Day 3-10: Keep your brow area dry and untouched (no water).
Do not apply any brow make up and be mindful of skin care product application in the surrounding area. (anti aging products are a definite no!)
Avoid water at all costs, this includes sweat from exercise and when you shower. Only start to wash the brows again after all scabs fall off!
What to expect: Color will appear dark and may seem red - this is normal and temporary. Shape can appear uneven as the scabbing may pull and/or distort the skin in the surrounding area.
Brows may become itchy and flaky, although it may be tempting, do not pick! Prematurely removing scabs may pull pigment away - Allow your skin to heal on its own terms.
Melanin rich clients may experience temporary hypo-pigmentation after peeling. Although uncommon, it is a normal response to trauma. As your skin continues to heal, the color will “bloom” and become more visible.

Afterwards: Each persons body heals differently. Your fresh tattoo may appear light at first. As your skin continues the healing process, the color will bloom and become more visible. The true color of your new tattoo will be best viewed around the 6 week mark. It is important to remember that this is a two step process. Any areas that need to be adjusted will be addressed at the touch up, patience is key!
In some cases, additional sessions are necessary to achieve the desired results.

Long term: Your tattoo is an investment and will require continued care. Anti-aging products, exfoliation treatments and sun/UV exposure will lighten your tattoo. It is important to wear sun screen and to tell your skin care professional to stay clear of the tattooed area. Additionally, clients with oily skin, iron deficient or have other skin issues, may see fading more quickly. Refresh appointments are necessary to maintain color and detail.

Do not apply any eye makeup, cleansers, lotions/creams or any ointments for the duration of this period.

FRECKLES & BEAUTY MARKS
Immediately After:
Immediate area will appear red and possibly a little swollen. This is temporary and typically subsides in a short time. About 1-2 hours after your appointment, use the sterile wipe included in your aftercare kit to wipe your face or area that was tattooed.
Next 1-2 weeks:
Freckles will appear dark in color and slightly raised from the surface. Refrain from using soap or harsh movements like rubbing on your face. Gently splash lukewarm water over the tattooed areas twice a day and pat dry with a clean towel. If you got a small amount of freckles, you may use a cleanser or wipe on areas that have not been tattooed as long as there is no drip down onto a tattooed area. You will receive blotting papers in your aftercare kit that will help maintain oil control throughout the day during this time.
Keep face out of direct sun and water. No swimming, saunas or excessive exercise that may induce heavy sweating during this time.
No makeup or skincare products EXCEPT a gentle, unscented moisturizer (cetaphil, nivea, etc…)
You will continue this process until all freckle scabs have fallen off.

Afterwards: Each person body heals differently. Your freshly healed tattoo may appear light at first. As your skin continues the healing process, the color will bloom and become more visible. The true color of your new tattoo will be best viewed around the 6 week mark. This is a two step process. It is normal and expected for some freckles to have fallen out or healed too light. Any areas that may need to be added to will be done at your touch up.
